The broken-in feel is real — I wore these for a full day of biking and errands and never once wanted to change. Loose without looking sloppy, and the fabric is that soft washed cotton you usually only get after a year of wear.

Wore these on a six mile hike last weekend and the loose cut never once rubbed or rode up. The fabric's soft enough that I forget I'm wearing them, which is saying something in July heat.

These have that broken-in soft feel right out of the bag, no stiff break-in period like most shorts I've bought. The loose cut is roomy enough for biking without riding up, and they've basically replaced everything else in my drawer this summer.
